I've genuinely never used Excel. Is that a problem?
That's my favorite place to start. Beginners are the specialty. There's nothing to unlearn, and no bad habits to undo. We'll open a blank sheet together and go from there.
How long until I'm actually useful in Excel?
Most people feel a real difference after two or three lessons. It depends on where you're starting and what you need, which is exactly what the free call is for. I'll give you an honest answer, not a sales pitch.
Where do we meet?
Either in person in Monmouth County, New Jersey, or on Zoom. Both work just as well, and we'll settle on whichever suits you on the first call. That call is free, and it's the easiest way to sort out the details.
Do I need my own laptop and Excel?
Bring whatever you've got and we'll work on that. Learning on your own machine is how it sticks. If you're not sure what you have or what you need, ask me on the call.
Can we work on my real spreadsheet?
Please do. Your class project, your job's report, your business's books: real files beat practice files every time.
What if it's not a fit?
Then I'll tell you on the free call, before you've spent a cent. If someone else is better for what you need, I'd rather point you there.
